Innocent Drinks has announced that it will run its first music festival, Innocent Unplugged this May bank holiday weekend at a secret woodland location in Kent.
The 2015 line-up includes Electronic Classical Violinist and Songwriter, Diana Yukawa as well as Norman Jay, The Correspondents, Grace Dent, Morning Glory, Plump DJs, Camila Batmanghelidjh and many more.
Innocent Unplugged - A weekend off the grid.
Take a walk into the woods, pitch your tent and disconnect from frantic, fast paced city life at innocent unplugged. An off-the-grid weekend festival with a difference.
At the secret woodland location just outside London you can switch off your phone, park your stress and pause your status updates. There’s no wifi, 3G, or traditional electricity -just goodness. Any power we use will be generated by you and the sun.
For Diana, Innocent Unplugged Festival will be straight after the release of Diana brand new collaborative album “Codex”, by “Ghost Harmonic”. The group comprises solo violinist Diana Yukawa, electronic pioneer John Foxx and his collaborator in John Foxx And The Maths - Benge. The trio have been working at Benge’s MemeTune Studios in Shoreditch, London over the last couple of years, creating the Ghost Harmonic sound - a combination of the purity of Diana Yukawa’s violin with the complexity and textured noise of analogue machinery.
The songwriter and violinist is also nearing the release of her 4th
solo, studio album, anticipated to be released later in the year.
Innocent Unplugged audience goers can expect to hear the latest tracks,
straight out of the studio, anticipated for the next album.
23rd to 25th May 2015 at a secret location in Kent – just outside of London.
Tickers are free and will be released in waves… Over 18’s only.
